Advisory Council

The purpose of the Advisory Council is to:

• Advise and make recommendations to the area agency staff and board of directors relating to the development and administration of the area plan
• Provide information about the attitudes, needs and opinions of older people
• Serve as an advocate for older people and as a source for community education; and
• Assist with obtaining new resources for programs for the elderly and assist with any other duties required by the agency.

The Advisory Council meets quarterly (2nd Thursday) at 11:30 a.m. at Northwest Florida Area Agency on Aging, Inc., 5090 Commerce Park Circle, Pensacola, FL 32505. The 2024 meeting dates are as follows:
